As most have now noticed the Battle Search has been changed to the new Player Search. A lot of good feedback has been coming in and I feel we are about to a point where this new search can function as a great Player Search and Battle Search.
For those that battle and hit the back button a new link has been created on the Battle Page and the Player Search page called Quick Battle Search.
This functions exactly like the old Show Alive and Attackable script except you can now sort by Player Name and NW.
There are 2 ways to reach this area.
1. You hit the Quick Battle Link above.
2. Go to the Player Search and select the Attack Mode checkbox.
Why have 2 options?
1. It allows those that attack and then hit the browser BACK button to do so without resubmitting the form when using the link.
2. When using the player search option you can even add extra search criteria such as NW range or align to the search.
Another thing I'd like to point out is that with the new Player Search the NW field is real-time. No longer is a data field updated to allow searching. It takes the strength, agility and Max HP and figures this on the fly.
Again, I know when it was first released a lot of players freaked out and hated it. I appreciate those that left feedback to allow me to increase functionality while keeping what you loved of the old search in place.
More suggestion will be implemented soon including searching for those that don't have a clan.
As well, I’m open to suggestions on what options under the action dropdown you'd like to see.
The hit listing option will be added soon.
Today some work has begun on the header of the site. The top image has been shrunk to allow for an upcoming horizontal menu along the top. Many complaints have been coming is that our site needs to be easier to navigate and a lot of research has shown some of the more important aspects of the game should be at the top so new players can tell what’s important.
I don’t want the page to go down any further so am shrinking the header image to allow this change.
More on that later.
Last: We are starting a drive to get more fans and followers on Facebook and Twitter. If we can reach either 1,000 fans or 1,000 followers on Twitter a special in-game treat will be had for all.

Happy Valentine's - Creatures of Melania!
Whether you're a vampire, werewolf, or hybrid, I just wanted to wish everyone in Crimson Moon a Happy Valentine’s Day. From now until after the 14th there will be a Valentine's Package in the Game Store you can purchase for other players. This is the only way to get a rare in-game gift and 5,000 rep points.
As well, the rewards from the Roses and Box O Chocolates in the gift shop have been tripled. A Dead Rose gift was also added for those that like the negative rep.
The chat interface has been upgraded tonight to work a little different behind the scenes. This should make posting in chat much quicker and remove the issue of posting and having to wait for the chat window to catch up.
Work still continues on the new battle search. It should be a lot more organized and useful that the one before. I'll have a special cosmetic update soon. More on that later.
Beta testing is still underway on the new game and Crimson Productions has acquired a free arcade site for those moments when you’re waiting for resets.

New Company Site, Game Updates, and Server Problems
We are well into 2010 and it's is looking to be an exciting year for Crimson Moon and Crimson Productions, LLC!
Our Company Site has been completely redesigned in order to better present our company and prepare for several projects coming this year. We are excited for the changes to the site and have many more to release. One of those being the release of the new Crimson Productions Ad Network. We are positioning to start doing our own advertising and depending less on ad networks such as Google. The ad network is currently running on Crimson Moon Server 1 and Crimson Games. We currently are just running google through our own network. We will be adding more information very soon.
We have also hired some help in the non technical areas of our company and will soon be announcing the addition of a new Marketing Specialist. She has much better spelling and grammar than me, so hopefully you see some changes in that area:)
Those wanting to follow my actual twitter feed where I post everything the company is doing, can follow the Crimson Productions, LLC Feed on Twitter. That is also my personal twitter feed.
We've been doing a few smaller game upgrades as we've been busy with other projects at the start of the year, but have managed to sneak a few in. I would like to remind everyone to view and Follow Us on our CMRPG Twitter Feed. We will post detailed updates as we do them. One update to mention is the page layout has been recoded on the back end to allow the page title you are on to be in the actual page title. That way when you are trying to back or forward using your browser, you can see exactly what page you are on.
Coming up I have scheduled some additional work on the battle script and a complete redesign of the Battle or Player Search.
As well, work is well underway on the name Crimson Productions, LLC game that will be released this year. Beta testing is going very well and thanks to those VIP players that are assisting.
Lastly, I wanted to talk about the server problems we've been having as of late. We had some issues with the OS on our server and logging that was causing our databases to fail. This issue has been corrected and the sites should now be running even faster. We will continue to monitor the situation. We have never said, but you all should know that all our sites are backed up nightly and stored off site.

Merry Christmas Crimson Moon
I just wanted to wish all who celebrate a VERY Merry Christmas this year. Stay safe if traveling. We are planning to travel this year, but may not since I hear sleet/ice/snow hitting my window as I type this. It looks to be a White Christmas this year. I may be gone a few days.
Don't forget to hurry and send those gifts out before 12am tonight and enjoy opening those present tomorrow through the 31st! There are many great prizes to be had including the popular Christmas Amulet.

Activation Process
I went through the entire process of creating an account and then activating it. I found that the activation process was confusing and could be simplified, so I reworked this entire area.
Now when activated for one Server it will check all the rest to see if it matches. You no longer have to choose which game server you are activated. It checks all 3.
While doing this process I discovered a bug that presented itself a few weeks back that was keeping players that joined from activating. That has now been fixed and I've manually activated all those accounts made during this time frame.
So, if you were having issues activating...you should be able to login and use your account now.
If you are a new player joining after this update, I'd be interesting in knowing what you thought of the activation process now.

Santa Claws Workshop and Tree
Santa Claws has decided to open up his workshop this year and allow players to purchase various presents for other players in the game. Each player can have up to 7 presents.
On Christmas Day (December 25th) through December 31st you can visit the Melania Christmas Tree and open those presents for various prizes including the Very Rare Christmas Amulet.
You are able to delete presents and buy gifts until December 25th, so have fun with it. At that point what you have can be opened until 12am January 1st. Anything not opened by then goes to the children of Melania never to be seen again.
Remember the Crimson Coin Holiday Special is in full swing as well as the Holiday Pack now available in the Upgrade Store for 30 coins.
Also, the Meta Accomplishment for Getting Started has been changed from 1 Crimson Coin to 6 Free VIP Days that are auto applied to that account only. This is not transferable.
